Excised IRES hGFP-3M from pCITE IRES hGFP-3M with EcoRI/SalI digest. Ligated into MSCV2.2 following EcorI/SalI digest of vector. Lost puro resistance gene (pac) in process. Luk Van Parijs et al., Immunity 11(3): 281.
Also see Addgene BioVector-012282, pMIG-w, which is a variant of pMIG containing a WRE element. The WRE element increases export to the cytoplasm and boosts protein expression by 2-10 fold.
