BioVector® SL-15 is an epithelial cell line derived from Human Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC). It serves as a significant in vitro model for investigating the biological characteristics of NPC. SL-15 cells are frequently employed to explore the pathogenesis of NPC, cell migration and invasion capabilities, and the sensitivity to novel anti-cancer agents, including chemotherapeutics, targeted drugs, and natural product extracts. In the field of nasopharyngeal cancer research, SL-15, along with lines like CNE-1 and CNE-2, forms the fundamental toolkit for studying this malignancy, which has a high incidence in East Asia.
