通用定义 / General Definition:

BioVector® Met1 是一种来源于 FVB/N 载体背景下 MMTV-PyMT 转基因小鼠自发性乳腺肿瘤的细胞系。该细胞系具有高度的侵袭性和转移潜力,主要表现为肺转移。在癌症研究中,BioVector® Met1 常被用作模拟人类乳腺癌进展、研究肿瘤血管生成以及评估针对转移性乳腺癌的新型疗法的经典模型。

BioVector® Met1 is a cell line derived from a spontaneous mammary tumor in an MMTV-PyMT transgenic mouse on an FVB/N background. Characterized by its high invasiveness and metastatic potential (primarily to the lungs), BioVector® Met1 is a well-established model in cancer research for mimicking human breast cancer progression, studying tumor angiogenesis, and evaluating novel therapeutics against metastatic disease.

4. Key Usage Notes

  • Aggressive Phenotype: BioVector® Met1 grows rapidly in vivo and has a high propensity for lung metastasis; researchers should plan observation windows accordingly.

  • Subculture: These cells are highly proliferative; it is recommended to subculture at 85% confluence with a split ratio of 1:4 to 1:8.


Note: Handle BioVector® Met1 cells strictly under Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) guidelines. To ensure experimental reproducibility and maintain the metastatic phenotype, the use of BioVector® DMEM Medium and BioVector® Fetal Bovine Serum is highly recommended.
