1. Product Description / 产品描述
BioVector® MC38-CEA is a genetically engineered murine colon adenocarcinoma cell line derived from the parental MC38 line. It stably expresses human carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA, also known as CEACAM5) under a constitutive promoter. This cell line is widely used in immuno‑oncology research, particularly for evaluating CEA‑targeted therapies such as CAR‑T cells, bispecific antibodies, antibody‑drug conjugates (ADCs), and cancer vaccines in syngeneic mouse models with a functional immune system.

5. Handling and Storage / 使用与储存
Shipping Format / 运输形式: Cryovial with >1×10⁶ cells (frozen) or T‑25 flask (70–80% confluent, ambient temperature for short distance)
Immediate Handling / 接收后处理:
Frozen vial: Store in liquid nitrogen or –80 ℃ (short term). Thaw rapidly in 37 ℃ water bath and transfer to pre‑warmed medium.
Live flask: Replace with fresh medium containing selection antibiotic after attachment (typically 4–6 hours).
Subculturing / 传代: Detach with 0.25% trypsin‑EDTA when 80–90% confluent. Split ratio 1:5 to 1:10 twice per week.
Freezing Medium / 冻存液: 90% FBS + 10% DMSO (or commercial serum‑free freezing medium)

Sterility Testing: Negative for bacteria and fungi.
Mycoplasma Detection: Negative (PCR or luminescence method).
