It was established in 1978 from a malignant ascitic effusion in a 63-year-old female Caucasian patient. Handling and Storage Storage: Cryopreserved vials should be stored in the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen, or below -130°C. Thawing: Thaw frozen vials rapidly in a 37°C water bath for 40-60 seconds, then immediately transfer the suspension to a centrifuge tube containing fresh culture medium to remove the cryopreservation agent.
