The HepG2.2.15 cell line was established by transfecting the HBV genome into HepG2cells. It supports stable HBV replication and protein expression, as well asthe production of virus particles. HepG2.2.15 is a widely used cell line in thestudy of the life cycle of HBV and antiviral research. It is also an idealmodel for investigating host-virus interaction.
