pCI-neo-mOVA is a mammalian expression vector designed to express membrane-bound ovalbumin (mOVA) in mammalian cells. It is a valuable tool for research in immunology, cancer biology, and vaccine development.

Key Features:

  • Strong promoter (CMV): The human cytomegalovirus (CMV) immediate-early enhancer/promoter drives high levels of gene expression in mammalian cells.

  • Neomycin resistance gene: Confers resistance to the antibiotic G418, allowing for selection of transfected cells.

  • Membrane-bound ovalbumin (mOVA): A model antigen commonly used in immunology studies.
