The 168FARN cell line is a subline of the 168FAR mouse mammary tumor cell line.

  • Origin: Derived from a spontaneous breast tumor in a BALB/c mouse.

    • Non-metastatic: 168FARN cells exhibit limited metastatic potential, particularly to the lungs.

    • Part of a Panel: 168FARN is part of a panel of four closely related cell lines (67NR, 168FARN, 4T07, and 4T1) derived from the same original tumor.
