Description描述：Beagle breed. The thoracic aorta was removed post-mortem on 10/23/85. Strips of the intimal and medial layers of the vessel were removed, minced, and used as explants to initiate the culture. Cell morphology is fibroblast-like. This culture tested positive for alpha-smooth muscle actin and negative for the endothelial cell-specific von Willebrand factor (immunofluorescence assays). Other cultures from this dog are AG08454 and AG08455.
