Description描述：The tissue of origin for this culture is the medial layer of the upper thoracic aorta. The culture was initiated 9/80. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The culture tested positive for alpha-smooth muscle actin (immunofluorescence assay). The karyotype is 60,XY; normal diploid male. The cells have a strong histamine signal (receptor) and deposit collagen post-confluence with addition of ascorbate.
