Description描述：The donor was asymptomatic when this specimen was submitted at age 74, but was diagnosed by age 78 with Alzheimer's disease. Donor's parent and 3 siblings are affected. Donor is the product of a consanguineous marriage. The culture was initiated on 6/01/90 by transformation of lymphocytes with Epstein Barr virus. The cells grow in suspension and their morphology is spherical. The karyotype is normal. Donor's affected siblings are AG10956B, AG10984A, and AG11001. Autopsy confirmed Alzheimer's disease. Donor was heterozygous for the 4 allele of apolipoprotein E. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product.
