Description描述：Duroc breed. The aorta was taken immediately post-mortem on 4/9/85. Strips of the medial layer were removed, minced, and used as explants to initiate the culture. Cell morphology is fibroblast-like and the cells form layered sheets at post-confluence. The karyotype is 38,XX; normal diploid female. Other cultures from this pig are AG08113 and AG08114. The culture tested positive for alpha-smooth muscle actin and negative for the endothelial cell-specific von Willebrand factor (immunofluorescence assays).
