Description描述：Beagle breed. The thoracic aorta was removed post-mortem on 3/28/84. Strips of the medial layer of the vessel were minced and treated with collagenase and elastase. Cells released by this treatment were used for the primary culture. Cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The karyotype is 78,XX; normal diploid female. The culture tested positive for alphasmooth muscle actin, negative for the endothelial cell-specific von Willebrand factor (immunofluorescence assays), and negative with DilAcylated-LDL assay. A skin fibroblast culture from this dog is AG07454. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product.
