Ten(10) clonal lines from mouse ovarian surface epithelium of C57B6 mice weredeveloped. Mouse ovarian surface epithelial cells (MOSEC; C57Bl6 mouse) wereisolated and cultured in vitro and underwent spontaneous transformation aftermultiple passage. The parental cell line was cloned and 10 lines wereestablished .All ten cell lines form tumors when injected into mice. Followingintraperitoneal injection into C57Bl6 mice tumors seed throughout theperitoneal cavity and ascites fluids accumulate similar to late stage ovariancancer in women.

Histopathologicanalysis of tumors revealed a highly malignant neoplasm containing bothcarcinomatous and sarcomatous components.

Complete Growth Medium:

DMEM-H+ 10% FBS(Gibco)

Cryopreservation Medium:

Complete growth medium, 95%; DMSO, 5%
