Remarks: Clinically affected; mild case; skin blotching; increased sweating; absent deep tendon reflexes; no flare response to histamine test; no fungiform papillae on tongue; severe corneal problems and was legally blind until a corneal transplant; vomiting crsis approximately every 6 months; spinal problems with some minor rotation of vertebrae; postural hypotension; normal height; menarchy started at 15 years and was very irregular; mother is GM04634/GM04635; father is GM04632; donor subject is homozygous for the 2507+6T>C mutation in the IKBKAP gene; this donor splice site mutation (IVS20+6T>C) leads to deletion of exon 20 from the mRNA; donor subject is also heterozygous for a silent polymorphism in the ASPA gene: 693C>T [Tyr231Tyr (Y231Y)]
