RN4880 strain金黄色葡萄球菌
A Bacillus sphaericus strain containing the cloned lysostaphin gene described in U.S. Patent No. 4,931,390was mutagenized with N,N-nitrosoguanidine. Surviving colonies were screened for presence of a lytic activity by platingthem on a lawn of heat-killed cells of S. aureus strain RN4880 and incubating overnight at 32°C. Colonies producingsignificant clear zones were saved.
