Storage Conditions Vapor phase of liquid nitrogen
Comments General observation is that it may take four passages of the cells until the percentage of LANA positive cells reach ≥ 50% and stabilize. Effect on Host Non-cytopathic, visualized by fluorescent staining with LANA specific conjugated antibodies
Growth Conditions Temperature: 37°C Recommendations for Infection: Pellet cells gently (e.g. 10 minutes at 200 x g at 20°C) in medium to remove DMSO. Re-suspend pellet in fresh medium. Passage cells by transferring into a flask containing additional medium. Incubate flask at 37°C, 5% CO2 with humidity until cells reach 80-90% confluence. Harvest cells by trypsinization with 0.25% Trypsin (ATCC® 30-2101™). Continue to passage product until at least ≥ 50% of cells are immunofluorescence positive. Replace a portion (e.g. 75%) of medium every 2-3 days. Incubation: 1-7 days
